2010-2011 Improvement Projects – Questions

Questions?
Kerwin Meek has accepted the role of project coordinator. He is working with the stewardship and property ministry’s. If you have any questions please contact Kerwin, an elder or a staff member.

How can I help with the projects?
Pray for the Lord to lead you in your giving for this remodel. With everyone sacrificially giving, we should be able to complete these projects.
Give what you can to help complete these projects. Mark your donation checks as “Improvement Projects”.

When do I give?
•You may begin NOW!!!
•We would like to get the playground completed by Thanksgiving.
•Donations can be placed in the offering or turned into the office anytime over the next year.
•We cannot do anything without your prayers and financial support.

Why should we do this?
Over the past few years we have not been able to fix up or upgrade anything within the church due to the constant replacement of air conditioning parts and then securing the A/C units from copper theft. Parts of the building have become rundown and outdated. We would like to bring the technology into the 21st century. Meeting these needs will improve the first impressions of the church. Recent storms have caused damage to the roof and we continue to have numerous leaks.

What is this going to cost?
It’s estimated that the total cost to fully complete all three projects is approximately $250,000 to $500,000.

What happens if we don’t raise all the money?
It is the desire of the elders to not borrow any money to complete these projects. All expenses for these projects will be covered by donations from the church. Projects, or portions of the projects, will only be completed as donated funds are available to cover the expenses. If the required funds are not donated, the projects will not be completed.
